New from Cape Town

Post by Mike J » Thu 23 Jul 2015, 03:57

I introduced myself yesterday, but was informed that this site does not take kindly to strangers.
Let me try again.
I live in Edgemead, Cape Town.
I have always been a Ford fan. In the past I've had a Mk 2 Cortina GT, a Basil Green Grenada Perhana coupe. I have just bought a 1975 Ford Ranchero with a 302 Cleveland motor and C4 Auto box. I hope to read some exciting topics on this site, and I would also like to contribute.

Welcome Mike J!

A formal introduction is required by all new members.... it is so much easier to "talk" to someone that has introduced himself. It is also a sign of your intention to join as an active member, participating in discussions and not use our group as an advertising platform. Spend some time browsing and get to know what makes the Forum tick.

Another daunting request....post some pics of your car/s?

Ters.

Hi Mike

Welcome to the forum.

Is your car running/ driving.

If so I would like to come and see your radiator/fan set up.

I have a '49 Ford with a 302 and C4 box which is giving me cooling problems.

Depending on the time of day , I am either in Maitland or Brackenfell.

Thanks

I am just doing the brakes and will post some pics as soon as I pull it out of the garage. Probably the next day or 2.
