I honestly believe there are very few supplier of parts who do offer a good import service at reasonable rates.
Alfa GTV 3.0
Ford Capri Perana V8
Chevy Lumina Supercharged

Wait not for tomorrow to do what can be done today, live each day for one knows not what the next day may hold.

Nothing as yet. He is just blaming his "driver" for not delivering my stuff. He stated the following excuses so far:

1) First he and the courier company had issues (Speed Services) and he changed to Dawn Express. (No tracking number received ever)
2) Then the driver didn't take his cellphone
3) Then the driver slept over at Caledon, being late
4) Then the dispatch clerk didn't put my address on
5) Then the driver was at my home but no one was there (Wonder why they didn't call me then....)
6) and the lies goes on.

I logged a complaint to the National Consumer Commission (http://www.thedti.gov.za/agencies/ncc.jsp).
Hopefully they will investigate and terminate this guys' business or something.

Get someone else that you know to phone him and state that he/she wants to import for a large amount of cash, but schedule a meeting with him first. You pitch up when the meeting is on and use the "klap" 1st ask questions later technique

I have had a look at that website as it looked interesting, something about it just struck me as funny so I never bothered looking any further as I was wanting some items for my Edelbrock carb from the USA, I only import from the UK.

Anyway I then contacted US Connections in Wynberg JHB and got the items I wanted in no time with no hassle.

As for time on importing, when I do an order (busy putting another one together for July)my parts are sent by UK overnight to the shipping company I deal with, parts normally leave on the Friday and I usually receive them the next Wednesday/Thursday, delivered to the house with customs etc etc all sorted. I don't know why some of these so called companies say it takes so long to import parts.

Thanks for the warning on this company, I agree with you guys, some knee caps need re arranging
