Chev 4100 engine manual gearbox options

Hi okes I need some inputs on whether a GM Ranger SS 4-speed gearbox will work on a Chev 4.1 Straihght six motor? What things do I need to consider if I go this route??? My truck is a 1969 C10 bakkie.
Current Cars:
Chev C10
Hyundai IX35 CRDi
Mazda Sting 1.3

Ex Cars:
1997 Toyota Corolla RSi
1997 Honda Civic Vtec
1997 VW Polo Classic Polotech

Current Bikes:
2008 Suzuki GSX-R750
1979 Yamaha SR500

Ex Bikes:
2006 Ninja 650R
2011 Suzuki GSX-R750

It should fit as the same belhousing is used! Take care on the diff ratio as the 4.1 uses a 3.08 ratio and the Ranger a 3.45. The propshaft length may also be different! Johann. Make certain the starter is located on the same side! That will determine the fit!!

4.1 also came with a 2.92 diff ratio as found on my Elcamino
