Vintage Truck, classic door signage

Post by Burnthosetyres » Wed 04 Dec 2013, 06:38

Another one of my pet likes, there are so many, some are priceless, some are simple. I just love the look....

Does seem a little lame if it is not an actual shop truck...... a bit like fake patina    ;)

It doesn't have to be a fake shop logo, can be something abstract or relevant to you? I still want to do a Tri five Chevy in American army green, with sine sort of logo on the doors, to bring in a little bit of red black & white..... But F.ck me if I know what....... Some other door logos.....

Variations, does not need to be on the doors.

My old 1978 F100 V8.
Sold it 20 years back when I moved to Durban. :(

No Barry just sharing ideas.... What I want to do is simple, American army green 55/6/7 Chevy 3100 pick up, US ARMY stars on the doors, in black with a touch of red & Blue, but in a faded vibe, will probably need to be airbrushed..... One day..... when my current 2 head aches coupled at the tote with bottomless money pits are complete, and I reabilitate from sequestration...... I'll attempt the next project!
