I was aware of the Fiat 131 Rally, but not of the Fiat 131 Rally S.

Did the De Kock Brothers here in Bloem not have one at one stage.

The "old oomie" (can't remember his name) with the big beard, working on trucks there on Olive Hill plotte also had something like this they raced with.

I could be totally wrong tho.

The old oomie with the beard you are talking about is Pop Diedericks, he use to race a 131 Racing as a semi factory car in Group One racing.

The 131 Rally S you are asking about is very rare. I have seen and heard of only a handful. I don't think one even survived. Many got raced or rallied. Only difference to a normal 131 Rally is the spoilers and wheelspats.
