Numbered limited edition, according to the report.

Here's the CAR road test of the car.

It made about 14kW less power, though, than its "Fiat 131 2000 Racing" sibling, tested a year earlier in 1979...this, I believe, is the one to have. It was even quicker, in acceleration and top end, than both the Cortina 3.0S and subsequent XR6!

Production planning was rumoured to be 300 units. Later reports was that 200 will be produced. Looking at the Auto data digest just over 100 was registered. How many was made is not clear. They were produced just before Fiat left. I havent seen a numbering plate on any Superstrada's.

There is currently one for sale - havent seen one for sale for a long time.

I had one just before I bought my 131 Racing, the Superstrada was a great car. Not many left, probably less than 30 cars.
