If you take a look at the CAR road test earlier in this thread you will see that they got to top end at a slightly higher rpm...at 6300rpm odd.

The SuperBoss also fills its clock at top end, as all their speedos over-read.

I think this car has an 84mm stroke crank, making it a square bore/stroke configuration 2.8 litre, rather than the original 81mm over-square 2.7 litre.

I see it claims top speed is 230 in that test which is similar to the GSi as it claims 228.4 - 232.6 Km/h. All the more reason to take my supie to the track and see what top speed I can push out of mine

You wont get to top end on the track...u gonna have to enter a top-end run event for that :D

Well you must admire my optimistic outlook... :lol: so were are these kind of events hosted? airport strips?

I could test on the R59...wonder what a speed ticket would cost at 230 km/h 8O
