Just getting excited now to bring my car out there, seeing yours...but my first excuse for loosing will be i have never done it before...lol
That was taken quite a while back, Barry...I went onto their website and cannot find any information on public track days, so am not sure whether they have stopped having them.

Track days have not stopped at Zwartkops, there is a calendar with event details.

22 May is Bike track day so next car day will be in June, I will try get the rest of the years calendar. been a ZOC member since 2006, awsome fun track days if you have never been. sessions for various classes of cars due to engine size. Race cars have their own class so don't intimidate normal drivers in road cars. No overtaking in corners for safety so a good day out for anyone wanting to take their car on track

Would be great to know the dates and see if they will fit into my planning. Really want to make to a track day at least ones...something to get of the bucket list and maybe to make it a more regular thing.
There are more tracks in GP so there must also be possibilities on those other tracks

At least the 325iS and the GSi 16V-S are in the same class, Race cars would be intimidated by us

Been living in PTA for 10 years and was at zwartkops only twice and it was for car shows, have been living for 2 years in the Vaal now and not yet been at the midvaal track but have to make some appearance they for sure at one point.

Maybe we can race the Record against the Manta ?

I am so close to registration! Hope I have all the documentation now and will know tomorrow when I visit the Local Magistrates office!!
Then we can do some driving! The track is incredibly drivable, it actually tells you the line to take!!

Midvaal is very active with open track days, worth going there with your car, nice track layout even if a little bumpy and it has the long straight so you better hope your brakes are up to it for the right hander at the end of the straight.

I will e-mail Mel Spur at Zwartkops for the calendar dates for the rest of the year

Went to Midvaal last year to for shake down testing of a friends restored Ferrari Daytona, very nice track with a great old school feel to it.

Wait not for tomorrow to do what can be done today, live each day for one knows not what the next day may hold.
