Chevrolet Corvair Information wanted

Post by moby302 » Fri 29 Oct 2010, 20:39

Hi All, long time no hear :D

If anyone can help Dave out it would be much appreciated.

South African CORVAIR Literature and Information Wanted: Historian seeking brochures, handbooks, bulletins, photos, signs, memorabilia, and magazines with articles, tests or advertisements for GMSA Corvairs assembled at Port Elizabeth from 1960 to 1962. Production figures, leads to surviving cars and GMSA retirees who were involved with Corvair assembly, sales and service are all keenly sought! I will gladly purchase ANYTHING you have related to GMSA Corvairs, even serial number plates. Or I can trade US brochures for most cars and trucks, photos, magazines etc. from current years back to the 1930s. All information will be appreciated, no matter how trivial. Dave Newell, Corvair Preservation Foundation Historian, 1481 Hamrick Lane, Hayward, CA 94544 USA chevrobilia@juno.com.

Thanks
Moby

Moby,

Hi welcome back!

I've never heard of an Opel Corvair. Do you mean Chev Corvair? the flat 6 air cooled rear engine thing?

Lol, thanks. I did not realise it was so long until I started putting stuff on the site and realised it was almost exactly a year ago that I last updated the site. I blame it on cigarettes, when I am on the pc my hands reach out for a smoke constantly, and I gave up in October 2009, needless to say I have now compromised, I only smoke when on the pc, lousy reason to start again but must admit I enjoy being back on the sites. Luckily I can either smoke or not most of the time.
