The one and only A2 is back at home

Dear All
Don't frequent this forum much these days, but wanted to give a shout out to "Stealth", alias Warren for completing a lengthy , but excellent restoration on A2 .
As those that follow the car's exploits will know, I had an unfortunate intimate encounter with a solid vertical surface at Killarney the last time I raced the car there more than two years ago.
For many years, Warren has been the only one allowed to work on A2, and as the attached pics will attest, you can see why. The right side took the brunt of the impact, but difficult (if not impossible) to tell that it had any mishap at all !
There are a few A2 tribute cars about, which in itself is testimony to the car's unique place in S.African racing history. However, "There can only ever be one", as they say in the classics, so this is confirmation that A2 is now good as new again, and safely parked at its permanent residence !.
Thanks Warren !
