Phases on build up

Hi, i have bought a 1972 Chevy El Camino and want yo build it up. I am busy to read up on where I can find part and accessories. A question I would like to ask is where to you start with a complete build up. I thought of starting to strip and tag everything and remove the body to start with the chassis. What would you suggest?

When someone posts in this section, it does not reflect when one clicks on the "View active topics" link above. Is it as a result of the forum software? It only shows with the "View new posts" link.

I noticed this when I posted in this section last year, and now again with duppa's thread. Have completely missed all the other topics in this section since.
