Cape Town mechanics

Post by hitlers revenge » Thu 13 Nov 2014, 07:44

Who are the major players in Cape Town that one can use to do mechanical work on old cars.

Would like to hear about recommended services in the Northern Suburbs.

Thanks

Thanks Barry

Is Simon's place down by Adult World in Parow?

How busy are you? I need to remove 1 x "rear axles and diff" and replace with another.

That's him Dave.

I can't take on anything else this year, and Richard who would normally tackle those jobs is leaving to go study full time, so until I find someone else I will be doing less mechanical/straight fabrication stuff too.....

Do you have the new diff? Any reason why you don't take it on yourself?

Thanks parkeya, I will add him to my list.

@ Barry - Simon has closed books until January 2016.

Got sorted. Before my dilemma, I went to a Prop Shaft builder and they couldn't help me.

After speaking to Simon, I got the name of the above mentioned Prop Shaft builder, went straight to him, ie:- by passed the counter, and he gave me what I need.

Therefore no more diff change for me.

All happy again. :D :D :D :D :D
