Dead right Gavin! This car was almost a full on copy of the Ferrari 166.

Here's a clue. The country from which this car comes used to do a lot of copying in their manufacture of their motor vehicles and to some degree of aircraft. If you can get the country, then you can start searching for the make and year.

Are there no takers? Come on guys, put your thinking caps on.

This car came out in 1962. It has a 5900cc straight 8 engine and held all the lap records in the country in which it was manufactured.

How sad is this? Has no one got a clue?

This car was manufactured in the same country as the Yak 9d fighter aircraft from WW2.
