I'll add my plea to this list.

Henry and I are interested in the two Lucky Strike Capris. These are the cars:

Keizan:

Mass/Glemser:

Any pictures you have or come across will be greatfully received. We are particularly looking for colour pictures, but black and white are good too.

I know there are some pics scattered around the forum already - I will gather links to them here. Hi Fi and KR, can I please repost your pics in this topic?

Thanks

So Henry, what mission are you and John on? I've got no more pics of that car. Maybe Lucky Strike have, or Eddie Keizan himself.

Perhaps you should try to contact him.

We are on two missions (three actually):

1. I am building a replica of the Mass/Glemser car... but not soon

2. Look out for a Keizan replica at a circuit near you... soon I hope... Henry may tell you more

3. I am researching the Ford Cologne works team

Hmmm, that sounds very interesting!

Isn't there a chance you can get info out of Ford Germany direct? Hopefully there won't be too much of a language barrier. If they could help, I wonder if they will release pictures of that Capri to you? If you come across anything over and above what I've posted, please let me have them. It'll help to build up my collection.

Henry! What are you up to? Tell us something.

Here's the last picture which we've all seen somewhere else on this site. In the center Mr. Venter........

Nothing sinister

Our Classic Car Chairman has started a new Capri V6 project.

Me and Louis (Powell) told him to please not paint it black again, but to do it in proper period colours.

He's agreed to it and is keen on the Lucky Strike colours.

In terms of rules he's not supposed to build it wide arched like the German car. But that could probably debated as the wide arches are official works homologated parts.

So the look will be more along the Keizan car look, which fortunately also had Lucky Strike sponsorship.

And the black Mazda?. Well its for sale for someone brave who can afford it, but only one the Capri is ready.

So there is the story
