Lucky Strike Capris - Keizan and Mass/Glemser
Re: Lucky Strike Capris - Keizan and Mass/Glemser
With all the stickers we collected I wouldn't have to re-spray the Datsun, just stick'em on!

Pity your Datsun is still in your driveway. Thought it was going for a 350Z implant..

Our Classic Car Chairman has started a new Capri V6 project.
Me and Louis (Powell) told him to please not paint it black again, but to do it in proper period colours.
He's agreed to it and is keen on the Lucky Strike colours.
In terms of rules he's not supposed to build it wide arched like the German car. But that could probably debated as the wide arches are official works homologated parts.
So the look will be more along the Keizan car look, which fortunately also had Lucky Strike sponsorship.
And the black Mazda?. Well its for sale for someone brave who can afford it, but only one the Capri is ready.
So there is the story
I was given this picture also recently although not quite what you were discussing re the Lucky Strike colours. Perhaps our chairman may want to even consider this as an option!!

There are a few options with Capri's. Guy Tunmers Paradise Beach car, Goughs silver and blue V6 or the purple V8, Koos' as shown. Is Chris preparing it as a V6? Keizans sounds good tho'

Hi Dattiman
Thanks for the pic. This is uncle Koos Swanepoel in the Basil Green car when they lost the Gunston sponsorship. About 1972.
This is the very same car that was raced against yourself on Saturday at Killarney in the wet. Pictures by Lino reflect the result.

A nice rare colour pic of A2. Pity about the printing all over it!!

I'll try and fix the writing on the photo as best as possible. Will require some serious editing to make it look real again.
