You sharp Jacques I have some photo's of that car somewhere and I think the motor was "open" it was not covered by bodywork. I'll have to check.

No this was not a race car.I bought it in 1981 from a guy in PTA but i can't remember the name.I've send the pic's to Moby and with a little bit of luck she will get them posted for me(very helpful of her).

The race one that was at Zwartkops was an open top looked something similar to a Cobra.

You may find that the front and rear glass of that car is from some vehicle that was available at the time. Like the Dart's that used Ford stuff.

It's a very unique car very much worth restoring.

The front and rear glass is from a Karmen Gia.I still got the original road test somewhere filed away from a 1971 Technicar magazine with all the original specs.Thanks again for the help Moby.

Can you give us some more technical details please? Which end is the engine?

Is this car based on a VW Beetle pan? It looks the same as one that I used to see on the way to school in the mid 1970s in Durban.

After a 6month search i eventually found the original road test of the Lolette Spyder.I hope you can read the article.Quite impressive for a 1971 kit car
