Re: Team Gunston History
I am looking at all of the orange cars Formula 1/2/Altlantic, Sports/GT and Saloons.
My starting point is a who drove what, when and where spreadsheet. To this I want to add any info, data, stories, articles - all welcome. I will be posting up a site http://www.teamgunston.org
I specially looking for some 'new' or more accurately different pictures rather the same ones that are recirculated on the net time and time again.
Team Gunston was quite a formidable team. They fielded an amazing number of cars and drivers between 1968 and the eighties. I have alredy dioscovered one new fact (to me anyway) is that one of the very first cars sponsored was a LDS-Repco Mk3B.
So far 36 different cars, 29 different drivers. They certainly helped keep Chevron in business: B16 spyder, 3 x B19, 2x B21, 2 (possibly 3) x B25, B26.

Allan, about 40 hours and counting on google, about the same amount of time on bing.com
Unfortunately, as great as the internet is, a lot of the same stuff just goes round and round reapeated from site to site.
