Thanks for your efforts Hernry. Ja, it is sad. I would have thought that money must have changed hands for that car. even if it was a shell, so how can someone just leave it to rot? On the other hand, maybe they had used it so much and it was so damaged that it was literally dumped.

It probably ended up in the crusher at Chicks and somebody today are frying their eggs on part of the bonnet! :(

Imagine getting on of these back on the track. If I could find one I would make it a project :P

The wing is probably no worse than some of the Porsches from JHB. A couple of them wouldn't be able to pass under the Muizenberg bridge, let alone park under cover at Century City!!

Agreed, lovely car. The wing looks out sorts!

Wouldn't mind doing up a Peugeot 203. I guess I'll have to do a Stanza instead!

Nothing wrong with a Stanza.

You might just have to join the Nissan table at the next Classic meeting!

Think you must talk to Martin again re converting the Stanza to a racer.

I've seen a few Volvo 122s's around. It would be good to see some more of those cars back on the track in classics. I know Alan Poulter runs one, so it shows what a person can get out them. That car is pretty quick. It's time that Volvo visited Cape Town.

A customer bought a race suit, belts etc....he is building a 'boggelrug' volvo for fine cars/classics. He said its nearly done, so hopefully we will see soon.
