African Muscle Cars - Forum

Hi Guys
Do any of you knowledgeable guys have any info on any racing Chevairs, I believe Geoff Mortimer built a rally version and a v8 track car also, or was it the same car? I just did a google search and found a black and white photo of Ivor Raasch with his championship winning Chevair but you can't see much of the car in the photo.
Does anyone have any photos of these or any racing Chevairs please?

Harry Reid built and raced a V8 Chevair for clubmans,then later Super saloons.
The car was sold to and raced by Claude Williams and then Claude sold the car to someone in the Free State.
I seem to remember that Des Alley also raced a V8 Chevair at Zwartkops...
