Hi Guys!
Isn't it time for the PTA Cars in the Park shortly? I heard it will be taking place at Swartkops. Does anybody have more info on how, what and where? I was thinking of going but with the current petrol price I don't want to waste time and energy on a 1 200 km round trip if its not something huge like for example the George show. Please let us know if you have more info aswell if individual entries are accepted and the fees, pre-entry etc. if neccessary.
Greetings

Re: PTA Cars in the Park
Pretoria Cars in the Park is on Sunday 03 August 2008,
organised by POMC who have given very little detail thus far .. but..
It is at Zwartkops race way and is generally worth the effort, well organised and well attended.
Anybody with a vehicle manufactured on or before 1988 can exhibit.
If your vehicle is younger than this, sorry but you would not be allowed in with your vehicle, except by prior arrangement.
There will be ample parking for the public with golf carts helping out if you parked n bietjie verweg. And special parking for disabled people close to the gate.
Entrance Fees:
Public: Adults R40
Kids u12: Free
Exhibitors (People with old vehicles): 2 people in the car free, rest R40, children u12 still free
POMC members helping out - Entrance free
It can get quite busy on the roads in, so suggest you get there early (7am)
There will be entertainment for the kids.
There will also be marshaling on the track, as people are not allowed to drive around the track, except for the official drive around (and parking in the morning and when they leave) .
