Ford 260 Timing Cover
Looking for the early timing cover for a small block from 1963/1964 that takes the "short " aluminum water pump. Cover part number C4AE6059B. Cheers

Re: Ford 260 Timing Cover
Google tells me a D3OZ-6019-A should fit.
My reading suggests these covers are not engine capacity specific, but rather year specific.
I think an early 289W or 302W (or even 351W?) cover will fit. Main difference is the number you quote has a cast timing pointer. Later covers have a bolt on pointer.

Re: Ford 260 Timing Cover
Hi John. Covers not the same as the 289 ones. The water pump area is deeper at the impeller . Cheers Nick
