U-Joint GMB-210-1200

Post by Weasel » Sat 11 Apr 2015, 19:56

Driveshaft decided to fall out today, the U-Joint is pretty worn. looked up and found the part im looking for is GMB-210-1200 and it doesn't seem to be available here. my guess is its imperial sizing?, so my dumb question is; is there some universal universal joint sizing whatnot that im not aware of, or is there supplier that will have this.

Thanks

There is a supplier that will have this.

GMB is only one manufacturer of universal joints, other manufacturers might use a different part number.

For what vehicle is it, and does it have it's standard driveline?

Have you found GMB part nr 2101200?

If Autozone/Midas, etc doesn't have stock, even BMG/Bearing Man should be able to supply.

haven't found one yet but i haven't been looking :( been rather busy and it doesn't look like it will be a quick swap, it will have to be welded in somehow. Bakkie did however get a new carb and master cylinders :D

Better post some pics - sounds like you are barking up a very wrong tree.

Lol ok, here's what i mean, the front segment on the drive shaft is welded and i don't see how the joint will come loose without some cutting.

Front segment is pressed fit. Probably internal clip.
