For which engine do you need the injector?

As far as I know the 2.0 sohc uses the Bosch L-Jetronic,
and the 1.6/1.8 engine uses the central fuel injection EEC-IV engine management system.

Hi Shaunp

then you need the Lucas fuel injection. I think it is hard to find new ones in SA, but there are a few for sale on OLX and Gumtree.
Hope this helps.

Cheers

If they are that hard to find locally, look on eBay?.....I know £ and US$ is killer, but only option? GavinRS imports from UK as far as I know?!

The Ghia Model sapphires should also work,
Last check only 250 IRS models left the factory, making parts few and hard to come by.

The 3.0iRS Sierra, and Sapphire Ghia used a locally developed Lucas fuel injection system, might not have much luck on UK sites.

Try joining http://fordescortclubsa.com/phpBB3/index.php they have much more info on this.
