Why specifically a 56? Surely a single headlight, 55 to 57 will do?

Not sure about RSA: but, the 1955 'second series' Chevy/GMC pickup/bakkie sold here in the USA/Canada was the same as the 1956 model whereas the 1955 'first series' was '1954' in styling.

The 54 was a one year shape but cab size, chassis etc same as 48, The 55 & 56 are very close whereas Inlove the 57 Grill the most.

i Love the 55 , 56 honeycomb grill myself. but i like the styling of the 57 hood. The 58 and 59 are also nice but the double headlight isn't my cup of tea.
