TRANSPORT CHEV C10

Post by johan wepener » Wed 12 Feb 2014, 14:26

I know that I am looking for hen's teeth, but nevertheless.

My 1964 Chev C10 needs to be transported from Carnarvon in the karoo

to Bellville. The Chevy is on it's four wheels and will be able to start and

move a few meters.Restouration work has to be completed however, hence

the reason for bringing it down to the Cape.

I know a very small and remote chance for success but---do you know of somebody

able to transport the Chev from Carnarvon to the Cape? Maybe

some-one returning south from the north with an empty fourwheel

trailer? Naturally I will contribute lavishley towards diesel/petrol.

Thanks

Johan

On advice of a Forum Member I have contacted JJ Transport 021 9823810

0828878486 (Johan and Jeanette's business) and they were very helpfull

and friendly and also reasonable with the price and during the past weekend my Chev C10 was brought from

Carnarvon down to the Cape.

I honestly can recommend them.

Hugh

Carnarvon is roughly half way from CPT to JHB/PTA but they

had to turn off from the main road (100km?) and back.

R3500
