Ters

I suggest you also check the condition of the mechanicals , just in case...

Regarding the paintjob--is that something you will do yourself ? What do

you think will a professional total respray cost?

Thank you for your concerns Johan  . Mechanicals, suspension rubbers etc. are still available on E-bay. Of course the ideal is to keep such a car as original as possible with OEM parts, to retain it's value. I can manage a wrench (Google techie  )

Spray I will leave to the pro's Johan, can hardly color a pic without crossing the lines :o . Maybe I am not reasoning realistic at the moment, but only thinking of getting that car in my driveway! ;)

Ters, that 240Z is stunning, the condition is far better than I thought it would be. Really an iconic car but I haven't seen them sell for over R150k in SA, then again there are so few here its difficult to determine their true worth.

That's really a good looking one Ters ! For very little money actually. Maybe you can fix the reverse problem yourself ?

Hi Ters if I had the money it was my car. I got a 100% running 380 SE and as it was standing for a year the fuel pump stop dead. My gearbox should fit. If I get the money that blue Merc. is with me.!! :D
Now I need to sell spares!! ;)

That box wont do the job...check the ZF specsheet on those Mercs. Ters that box can cost you more what you pay for the car to repair...that is if you do not get to the right person. Remember an aotobox is like a fuel injection pump...only certain people do those repairs and normally its always the worst scenario. Ask a pro to quote,\.

I had the same with my Vito and i stand on R22K at the moment and the van is still not driveable
