SOLD: 3 Rover SD1 VanDen Plas

Post by johnw » Thu 03 Jun 2010, 16:12

HOwzit AMC mense,

Still trying to get rid of this bloody rover...

3.5l aluminium V8
5 Speed manual
rear wheel drive
elec windows
elec mirrors
cruise control

The papers are a slight issue, as in I don't have any. but I'm trying to make a plan to get that sorted out. Might be easier if someone out there is looking for parts for thier car, or maybe a classic racing project...

the car is located in Cape Town, southern peninsula

R15 000, VERY negotiable

thanks
J

Is there much rust? Not worried about the bonnet etc, underneath?
That's how I roll. Down the hill 'cause the car won't start and the brakes don't work.

looks like a good donor for a project where someone needs a chassis and drivetrain

Hi Mahleu,

No major rust on the chassis. There is rust on the bonnet which you can see in the one photo, and an area at the bottom of the windscreen, driver's side, doesnt look too bad to me. A couple of spots on the doors and fenders, the usual spots, there is a hole in the spare wheel well, but I think this is a drainage hole which has rusted to a bigger hole, should be a simple fix with a bit of sheet metal...

Thanks
J

Good luck as I cut my car in good condition for scrap.
I got no idea why people hate them. :(
