Thanks Rassie
All XR6's are 5 speed manual T5 boxes. I understand they are quite tough and also has LSD. I would not know as I do not race my cars except for the rare robot or highway clash with a silly BMW, Merc, etc. showing them them the shape of the tail lights and hiding special nose configuration of the XR6...
Rumour has it only about 100 AU's were imported in XR6 models. All other models were auto's.
The AU XR6 is indeed very rare and there are even fewer left in good condition, sadly many are quite tired and suffering lots of deferred maintenance issues.
I nearly bought a turbo one, thankfully sanity returned...

Hallo All
I suddenly have alot of intrest in both cars....
I have buyers from "Eastren Cape" and "Kzn", but the reason for purchase is butchering and horrific. I cannot let them go to this.
I have been quiet on the Forum, but need advice to advertise them on the correct platform. I see alot of visits to the topic but no replies or contact...
Advice appreciated!!!
Greetings
André

I think in all honesty finding good homes is very, very tough. Of course the best would be to not sell them at all.
As far as advertising perhaps advertise within car clubs?

Just a bump on the topic.
XR 6 still available open to a decent offer.
Advertising on Gumtree has a lot of enquirers, but no one definite. Would rather like to refrain from putting it up there again.

Let me know Rassie...
Sad news received yesterday, the new owner of the Capri has it stand outside in the elements without any shelter.
Saw pics of car standing in the rain and understand it been standing so since it left. That car never saw rain and always were under covers and under roof for the 18 years I had it.
Guess he paid for it so he can do as he please, just sad to see something one cared for being mistreated.
Greetings
André
