Ford Mustang GT350 For Sale

Hi All

A friend of mine is wanting to sell his restored Mustang.
It is a 65/66 GT350 (SHELBY CLONE)

The car is very neat, clean and has been restored as close to a Shelby spec as possible. Has side exit exhaust etc. Everything was imported new and all parts colour coded like it came from factory. It is licenced and roadworthy.

I am seeing the car on Saturday so will take more pics, engine bay etc etc. I will get all the details including price and contact so anyone can contact him directly.

Not many of this examples around.

Now the big question.......what will the asking price be.

It was maybe a good strategy to first show the car, collect good commentary and then

publish the price. But to be fair--it is an extremely good looking Mustang....

The car is a top restoration job. I have seen his other 65 Mustang and it really is done properly. I did not get a price as yet but will have all the details on Saturday. I will take more Hi def photos of everything.

Here is one thing I think everyone will hate I went to White River last year to value a collection of 9 Mustangs for customs in Norway. the owner is immigrating and taking them all with. List below

He owns my old 66 Shelby GT350 Hertz, at least I got a copy of the page from the Shelby Registry of the world which has my name in it

9. 1949 Mercury 2 door street rod- 302,manual. 100% complete
10. 1969 Mustang fastback SCCA trans am series replica race car with original 302 boss engine.30% complete.

I helped load my old car and the 1 GT500 into containers end of last year, they are now safely in Norway.

Pity they all had to leave but he has owned these cars for a long time and is not selling any. He was offered R1.6mill for my old car but told the guy he can look but its not for sale.

That hertz car was my absolute best mustang in South Africa after the Boss 429 of Mick Van Rensburg

This car has been done with no expense spared. I would love to own this car. engine is a 289 with solid lifters, roller rockers and is basically all new, 4 speed manual. LS diff. Koni shocks. new interior with correct upholstery, new door panels. all done correctly. The alloy wheels are USA imported, 14 inch

BEFORE anyone comments on the wire that is draped loose in the engine bay, the owner was just testing an electric vacuum pump to assist the brake booster. this will also be installed .
