Hi Ters.
2nd I8 on auction so far,

90% of the cars are bank repos,
the I8 is from BMW, demo. I drove the last one we had and to be honest its actually not exciting, not my cup of tea.

The Mustang is a pvt seller who needs to sell so we will see , had a lot of interest on this car

Interesting, 15 years ago, this was a 35k car, and a year 2000 V6 E-Class Mercedes was a 350k car, now the Merc is a 35k car, and the Mustang 350k. And I wonder which will be faster around a track?

In all fairness: the 1970 Mustang is an old model which already bottomed out in value and is trending upwards plus enjoys the halo effect from similar era Mustangs i.e the Shelbys, Mach I's, Boss 302's, etc. which now fetch some serious coin.

OTOH: that Mercedes model is now just an old car and; like most vehicles much past the 1980's, just don't garner respect like a 1969-76 'New Generation' non S Class did around 1990 and still does, especially a 240D.

These auctions are a waste of time.

Went to that Supercar auction at Aucor a few months ago, cars were going for 20% plus over book value. it's a travesty.
