Im loving it. If I had the cash and space I would grab it. Im sure you could work the price down a little. Yes it need a lot of love, but there is so much potential!

It is a very nice car.
Many years back I use to have a 1968 convertible with a 429 V8 4-barrel. It had everything you need. Electric windows, electric front seat and speed control. It could run away from a Cortina 30S with a hot cam and 4-barrel. I sold it for R.4000. It was good money for those years. We only had R.10's and R.20. My kitchen table was full of money as I had to count them. :lol:

Sure they had a 390ci (or 428ci option) with two-barrel carb. Fuel consumption in town is going to be a killer Wayne.... Friend of mine (Inactive forum member :roll: ) has a '68 Galaxy with the same drive train/suspension. Highway consumption is lower than his 3.0 V6 Courier trokkie though!

Has 9" diff, 3speed auto box. The sound from that big block is addictive, so if you not seriously considering buying, don't even go look at it...it will haunt you untill you own it!!! :mrgreen:

Exterior/interior trim/panels may be a problem when damaged because of their limited production run. (Not relevant because of extra body included!)

My soft spot is that 1968 Galaxi! My first car was a 1968 Fairlane. I will never forget the 35c a liter fuel price. :D
