That looks like a 76. If it was a Caprice Classic it would have had a 308 V8 motor as standard. I had a classic in my yard for a while.

Thanks for your reply Johann. That car looks worthy of a V8!

To learn we gotta ask questions, I think thats why forums were created - to share knowledge, it seems to annoy some though, sorry ;) .

Don't underestimate the 4.1 High Option engine. It has plenty of muscle! 8)

Output = 155 BHP SAE

Torque = 235nm @ 1600Rpm

Real workhorse engine and too stupid to know it is broken!
