interesting fact there Bearhawke, The block was cast in 82 yes. I know it had an A318 in it from the chassis no so i just i thought the exhaust headers was from that old block. But thanks, now i dont feel to guilty about taking them out.

D100 Restore #2 So this was supposed to be a resto of the intake manifold, but after taking everything off i got to the last bolt in the intake and BEEP its blocked by the back of the water pump fixed to the timing cover, fixed to the engine mount. so I need to take off the radiator and loosen engin...

Something interesting on plug wires
So i swapped out the old plug wires on my bakkie yesterday replacing them with some 8mm SF msd wires, i wasn't expecting anything; not a big deal. But then i noticed a huge difference in the way it sounds. it has a much much deeper rumbling sound than before. I assume its because i'm getting better ...

Some banks will finance a classic but your best option (I know you don't want to hear it) is to save up.
