Re: Cruising in Cape Town
Am I the only one missing a cruise hot spot, diner, meeting point?
Isn't showing your car half the fun and exchanging know-how?
Well, I can't add too much value. I don't have a car, just a matt-black 1200cc V2 scooter...

Re: Cobra, the most awesome musclecar - ever!
Okay, I did a few follow-ups. The shop made progress on the rear control arms. I got the rear uprights a while back, but took no picture. The chassis is painted. Let me see what I can upload. Okay, file size too big. That put me off already, sorry. I will reduces the size another day. Maybe a websit...

I found a used one on ebay, get it sent to my mate in Maine who will slow-mail it to SA.
I can give you contacts for new (steel?) ones. They cost an arm and a leg... (Qucktime $550 and up)

Nobody has one?
I get one from the US, but would appreciate if I can borrow one for a day to position the motor.

Re: Genuine GT 350 in Cape Town
The VIN plate is no proof, sorry. The stamped number would be. I have the 1997 registry, 1385 is a well known car from various SAAC conventions (as of 1997)
But you know what? I am not concerned, because I don't intend to buy it. Even if it was for sale.
So, go, drive it!
