Re: LHD Issues The Facts
To clarify ( I am a lawyer in my other life) if you have a LHD that was on Natis before 23 July 2004 it can stay lhd and be sold, transferred, roadworthy-ed etc etc freely. Conversely if your vehicle was not registered on Natis before that date it has to be rhd to be legally driven on the road or be...

Re: 65 Mustang fastback.
I think I need to clarify a few issues, all of which have a bearing on local Mustang prices: 1. there is no 1965 rule - it is a myth - you can apply to your MEC for Transport for a special dispensation to keep your imported vehicle in LHD but I wouldn't dare to bet on a positive outcome or even a re...

Problem re LOA'S for 2nd hand collector's cars
A client of ours has been waiting for an LOA for his 1967 Mustang imported with a permit, and when he queried the delay he was told by the Manager of the LOA section of the NRCS that he has to prove that his vehicle is compliant with the latest Compulsory Specifications ( as applied to new 2015 cars...

Re: Ford Ranger Raptor
Oh yes you can have an F150 Raptor locally.
We have converted quite a few but you have deep pockets especially with the present rand/dollar.
But if you have to have one and can afford it .....

Re: 68 Mustang fastback project
With the greatest of respect, if you believe you can get a Mustang Fastback from the USA for less than R400 K you are dreaming. If you can find one - you will pay R300k plus for even a very tatty one that needs a lot of work and you still have to get it here. Don't forget not all Mustangs are sold s...

Re: 2015 Mustang
I wouldn't place too much store in pricing on Mustangs that say starting at: like Porsche and BMW the claimed starting price is way short of what you pay even for the most basic cars. For a Mustang in the US the average on a dealer floor is at least 8- 10 k more than the starting at price. So add 5-...

I'd be suspicious - could easily be pics taken of someone else's car at the petrol station.
