Re: XY GT - what tires?
The speed ratings and pattern are important. Well see it this way. On a modern Beemer/Mercedes you easily pay 2-2.5k a tyre and it is not a problem. Re: XY GT - what tires?
Have you tried Jeppe Tyres in JHB.
http://www.jeppetyre.co.za/
They could get tyres for a Fiat Topolino, but they were not cheap.

Re: XY GT - what tires?
I quickly check an old car test - ER70-14 was the original size
According to this chart it can be 185/14 or 205/70/14. About the same circumference.

Re: Molasses and water!
I have done it with small parts. Works well. Can take a few days to get rid if the rust.
Buy you Molasses from your local Kooperasie. They sell it in 25 or 250liter drums.

Re: Main site cars
I should also be able to help with roadtests if the car was tested in the CAR mag. I do have a couple of Wiel/Drive/Topcar as well - there should be tests in them too. Let me know what is needed.

Only the 1300 Gordini had double headlights. 1100 Gordini's had single headlights like the normal R...
