Re: 1965-67 Mustang Fastback: Bringing it to SA?
It will still have to be in right hand drive to be registered - then after a huge hassle you would get it registered as a built up - ie code 3 - so no insurance would be possible and the value would be affected as well. For every angle the Government usually has a counter-angle. And btw you will str...

Ballito Street Heroes 14-15 September 2013
This event, which is put on by the same company which put together the Topgear Festival, has, at my insistence, a Muscle car class especially reserved for 10 entries. They are keen to promote the Chevy vs Ford vs Mopar ( Camaro vs Mustang) rivalry. It is a time trial which means one car at a time mu...

Re: Yet another what is?
A Ford pre=production prototype of the 69 although the Ford fender badges throw me - as correctly stated Mustangs said just that on their badges.

Re: Shelby Mustang
Tim is absolutely correct. For whatever reason at a car show we can have brand new RHD Mustang GTs, Shelby GT500s and on one occasion a 2012 Boss 302 Mustang.... and an Eleanor.
For every bit of interest and photographs of the new cars , the Eleanor gets times 10.

Re: Shelby Mustang
Yes but there's no denying well done Eleanor clones are worth big money.
You will not see a decent Eleanor sell in the USA for less than $150 000.
That explains their relative popularity - I say relative because there are only a few around in reality.

Re: Price Expectations.
Also being in the business of building cars, like Barry, I want to agree that people have a totally skewed view of the cost of things. A lot of guys build their own cars and dont cost in the tens of thousands of rands of labour that they should. They consider they have made a profit if they sell the...

Re: 1966 Ford Mustang
Worldwide it seems, despite the economic situation, that old Mustang prices are steadily rising.
