Re: Mopar E-body (Challenger/Cuda)
Indianajones, I cannot remember clearly, as I had to sell a few muscle cars before we came to the UK. I think I wanted around R150,000. It was a genuine hemicuda, NOM. I obvioulsy got a lot more for it in the states. The sad thing was I only sold it becuase I had no storage in the UK, this was befor...

Re: Mopar E-body (Challenger/Cuda)
Thanks Jlebanon.
The Cuda: nobody wanted to buy it late '98, I then sent it to my brother in Denver. It is now in a museum in South Carolina. And yes, I have tried to buy it back…

Re: Mopar E-body (Challenger/Cuda)
Pieter, I had to google Gallardo, had no idea what it was.
Such different cars, me, I'll stick to a classic Mopar, never been one for fancy cars
This Challenger can run for ever and will never cost much to maintain

Re: Mopar E-body (Challenger/Cuda)
I'll be happy to provide some info if he buys the car.
I have a stack of pics I took during the resto, also an article that was in MoparAction about the car when I owned it in the 90's.
I include a pic stripped and afterwards. it was a stripe delete car

Re: Mopar E-body (Challenger/Cuda)
Wow, that was my first real Mopar. I bought and restored that car in the mid 90's, sold it a few years later and then tried to buy it back early 2000's, with no luck. It is a genuine 340 Rally with 2 build sheets, very original car form the Transvaal way back. That Challenger got me hooked on Mopars...

Corvette's
I had lunch with my Corvette friend today. He and his wife restores and buys pre '84 Corvette's, doing most of the work themselves.
The blue '70 is a 350/350 4 speed with only 20 000 miles, stunning car.
Enjoy the pics

Yep Barry, I am in the UK, but the kit is on its way to SA with some other bits.
I'll let you know once it is there and what exactly I have

Re: 1991 Opel Kadett GSi Superboss
I bought a grey Superboss brand new from Williams Hunt in Bellville. With my rally contacts in those days Opel sent me a chip and different exhaust system at no extra cost. On the Kraaifontein straight N1 I pulled into the red in 5th gear. That was one fast car!!! A guy from JHB bought it from me af...
