Gerardo I think R200k is ridiculous for a car without papers that has been badly restored. If you have to redo a lot of stuff you can rather buy a unrestored/cheap car and do it all right.

Oom Johann, there is no simple way to do it. You can get scripts to run, but its not a few minutes job.

When things quiet down at work in a few weeks I will have a look.

Very good news, that car was tempting me the whole time. But I knew it would be an injustice to take it back to road spec.

I really want to buy a canam - but I wouldnt do a car like that justice. That car needs to be raced, and I will only ever use it as a road car.

Totally agree Gavin. I have a friend that also restores european cars - for european customers. So top class restos are done here. But also lesser ones.

I think the market is getting more and more educated. There was a frenzy at some stage where anything remotely muscle like sold for big money. Now a car needs to be decent to get good money - which I think is good. Good original, or properly restored cars will still sell for good money. but your don...
