I know you probably want to go thin and fast and don't mind spending 700 bucks on a super oil, but before you do consider this. The previous owner probably didn't use this, he may also not have changed it out as often as you may think (it may be full of sludge) and your engine is probably not better...

you should consider getting a workshop manual, its not the be all and end all of restorations but any info does help. Try Owners Workshop Manual #563, i know there's a place here in escourt avenue that sells them, will set you back about 300 bucks. If your on the cheap, i found some info from undisc...

I think owning a LHD is like eating biltong with chopsticks, or drinking beer through a tiny straw.
but I do understand if it was not something we got here and you absolutely had to have it, and I'm sure you'll get used to it eventually.

I think that's a bit steep. And with it being LHD, I for one wouldn't go that way. well that's just my opinion.
