Hi all. I am looking to swap my 1973 Ford Ranchero (351 V8) for either a Ford Fairlane or a Capri V6. My Ranchero has power steering. 4 barrel Holley (650) Edelbrock intake. I have heard of "sticky" valves, but never experienced it (I think) First, are you running a std cam? Or modified cam? If modified, the cam could be too aggressive and is coming into contact with the pistons? With wild cams we most likely have to "pocket" the pistons to clear the valves. One assumes...

You don't remember me Rassie? I bought the Ranchero dash pad and footwell side panels from you very recently, my courier collected and delivered here in CT. I even called you for advice in removing the ignition.

I cannot get the steering ignition cover off... it has no screws, I am quite mechanically minded, but this has stumped me.
