Re: 69 Barracuda 383
Lookin' good.
Better brakes: I'm pretty sure the discs, knuckles on out from a 1972+ (VH+) Valiant, would work on your car but, you'll need the matching lower balljoints and, either later upper control arms or at least use spacers between the upper joints and knuckles.

Re: GM
Sad.
GM, as many of us know, they're discontinuing all manufacturing in Australia as well. So, everything's going to be imported here on out.

Re: 67-70 Cadillac
Close. The 1970-76 Eldos received the 500 whereas the 1968-69 model wen with the 472. Both motors work well as torque monsters regardless.ChevyWorld wrote:Very cheap.500 cid engine front wheel drive its a steal.

Re: Plethora of GM models in RSA during the 1960's; why so m
Hullo! The 60's was the time of major change! Can you imagine our technical specifications? If I recall we were close to 40 people that worked at keeping all the specifications up to date! That is why I still hate filing papers!! South Africa was the sufferer having to cope with GM USA, Canada, Eng...

Plethora of GM models in RSA during the 1960's; why so many?
After reading ClassicMan's post about locating carb info for the 194 four banger in his RSA Holden SW; what gets me is why RSA had so blasted many variations considering how tiny the new vehicle market was compared to (West) Germany let alone the USA +/- 50 years ago. 1967 here for GM alone: Chevell...
