I also had a run in with Mintys Bedfordview many years ago with my BMW . Bad balancing , wrong bolts and bad alignment . Never used Mintys again .

Yes they did come with auto boxes . I had one but due to me wanting to tow a big caravan i changed the box to a 5 speed toyota gearbox and changed the diff ratio ( cant remember ratio ) . It towed beautifully and was fairly economical in 5th gear on the open road when not towing .

Johann i will give you a no on Monday to contact . He is a Fiat supplier of parts and also has motors at good prices . I bought many Uno parts from him for my UNO delivery van . That is were a lot of business owners doing work that needs to be billed out per hour and not per job make the mistake . THey look at each job and see a profit of X but then don't have the next job in place so your X becomes X minus Next Job . Plan , plan and more planning .

ZAP i agree with your statement . Bayley Cars here in Jetpark do work on cars whether building a complete car or restoration and bill the customer monthly for work / labour and parts used . If its not paid no further work is done and your project stands . A mate of mine builds game viewing vehicles ...

Rassie you more than anybody should be able to answer that question . There are so many variants to a restoration project that a fixed price will never work . If you have a hourly rate and then the cost plus factor on parts that will give you the price . If you gave a fixed price and you encounter s...
