Re: Roadhouse

I love the roadhouse and the drive in scene.I can't thi nk of a nicer venue to watch a double feature with a bunch of classic cars than the movies. I'd love to combine a roadhouse and a big screen with topless chicks and a nude car wash.

Re: Imports.

There is rare and there is desirable and then there is rare and desirable. Obviously there is rare and non-desirable and those cars are most probably rare because there is no demand for them. If one takes the Chevy nomad it was a car that was produced in very small numbers because there was no deman...

Re: Imports.

I take it your trying to get my attention with this little remark No just because a Fairmont GT is worth a lot more than any of your matching numbers cars Maybe my 1969 ElCamino but as to the rest No. And yes IMO I do think that anyone takes a good Mustang and builds an Elanor needs their head read...

Re: Imports.

Tony I think we are arguing past each other. I believe that anybody who modifies a chevy canam is a tosser. I also believe that if you are trying to get your Ford Fairmount stright six to be numbers matching you are wasting time and money and you are a fool. If your Pontiac was an original 250 botto...

Re: Imports.

Dear Graeme I think that your philonthropic offers to Tony may be a little misguided. The man is on a quest for a numbers matching 400. Something lying around Mafeking is not going to cut ice. Tony if you give me your VIN, I'll decode it for you. 10:1 your engine may be a stright six and government ...

Re: Imports.

What is so fantastic about a 69 Firebird 400 built in 1969. You arn't talking rarity here are you. I promise you that if you add a few extras to your 69 firebird nobody would give a shit. Its not exactly the rarest car out there now is it? When i talk rare I'm talking about a Yenko or a Copo etc. I ...

Re: Imports.

Similar to the tosser who insists on asking what you paid for the car. Never asks you what the worth of the car is but wants to know what you paid for it. I take you on a bet that that type of tosser also doesn't like a clone and also doesn't have one to drive.

Re: Imports.

I'll say it again, and its something that I have learned about this hobby. The purists are mostly the ones who don't own the cars and the less they own the more particular they are about numbers matching and nut and bolt and screw correct. Ive had a myriad of people come up to my perfect numbers mat...
