Re: Firenza CAN Am 302 V8
Great pics of an unusual Vauxhall. I think that had they sold these cars here the model would have been sufficiently popular to run for a few more years. Unusual nose that sadly was not produced in S.A. but seemed very popular in England.

Re: Can Am
Hi John, I find it hard to believe that parts for the Firenza are so difficult to find. I also need a pair of oval headlights as mine has 2 of the local universal units that are too small. Please scratch around for me and should I be lucky then perhaps a p.m. for bank details and amount will help.Ma...

Re: End of the V8 coming soon
The 2 stroke engine has all but disapeared now,but I see Stihl are playing with a 4 stroke,2 stroke. Look at the progress with Diesel engines now! They're quiet,go like hell and super efficient. Why don't the car guys make common rail, direct injection petrol engines. If one thinks about it the moder...

Re: Scottburgh Classic car show 2012
Hi guys the Can Am clone is the ex Mike Forsyth car I bought a year and a half ago. I have spent this time rebuilding it as we are heading for the race track later this year or early next. It has the original 350 block Mike ran but rebuilt and have added a Supra 5 speed box for a variety of tracks t...

Re: Pics as promised
Use a Supra box and enjoy real V8 power in a Kart. Weigh your car and you should see a great power to weight ratio with a mild 350.As long as you don't put stupid rubber on the back the rear should last awhile. Ideal would be a stronger rear setup with a mean LS then you should really have fun.Maint...

Re: 1963 Kadett Zwartkops
So 10 years later B.V.R and team showed the General exactly what could be done with off the shelf parts from another parts bin. Can Am Firenza. No replacement for displacement !!
Re: LRP
Service station owners tell us that LRP is no longer available. From our experience,it has beem found to be more harmful than beneficial. An example was a Chevy V8 wearing a 650 holley that had corroded through the float chamber and the brown shellack type residue remaining after not being run for nea...
