The C is C4 auto( US made same as in the Perana but with a different bellhousing) and D is C3 auto. This is euro spec codes but if the Granada from 72 - late 73 it has a C4 box marked C on the plate.

You will not find any numbers on an SA made Granada. The only ID you have are the plate on the right hand side on top of the slam panel.

The information I wrote is from the BG plate mounted on the left side on the slam panel.

If you have a Granada you will only find 2 tags and they are in the engine bay.
