Re: It's time to release a few piccies of A2 replica......
Hi Chris
Don't know how you friend managed to get the Capri into S A, as I thought import of used cars was banned.
I know cars older than 40 years can be imported as "classics" but not a 25 year old Capri.
How did he manage that?

Exellent idea Gavin.
Will ask Dirk to contact Simon at Classic Ford and line up a feature.
This is a true labour of love.

Re: Ford 2.3 litre Pinto Engine
Hi John The little blue car's Pinto is at 2.3 already. But the "to be built" 2.8 is for our own car, mine and Craig's. It's 80% built and what works on ours will be passed onto the blue one. But as we're not such good drivers (rusty) we need the bhp to make up on the straight bits what we lose on th...

Re: Ford 2.3 litre Pinto Engine
Thanks Rassie But 2 litre engines we have plenty of. Maximum we've been able to stretch a 2 litre is just about 2.3 litre by boring & stroking. But if we can start off with a 2.3 and fit a 2.5 Ranger crank and apply the other boring and stroking tricks we can get it to 2.7 or more. In the USA they "...
