And away she goes. Change of colour. I can't wait to see the end result.

And what color did you decide on?

Are you doing a rub down and blow over or bare metal. What color is in the engine bay? Are you removing motor?

Not an easy decision that....

She's having a good sanding down to the metal, a new tailgate and spraying it Coral Blue.
The engine bay will be the same colour as the car.
I have already removed the engine and box. both will be overhauled.

I noticed your spare wheel cover open and it brought back memories from when I was a kid and my Dad had an ElCamino. Used to battle like hell to get that tight fitting spare wheel out of there! You using it for the spare?

No, I'm having it closed up. I will have the spare in one of the wells where the fuel tank used to be. I will just run with one fuel tank. I don't intend doing long distances.

And there she is in new colour. Needs a few things for completion. About 95% completely now.

Very nice, suits the car. Also love the Old School rim & Tyre combo! Enjoy cruising the streets!

That blue looks great on the Ranchie.

Would you recommend whomever did the paintwork, or was it yourself?
