One One Customs (Midrand) - Tiago

Post by WCC » Sat 03 Jun 2017, 14:21

Has anybody used One One Customs for work on your car before? The owner, Tiago, seems like a great guy but it would be great to get a reference.
Thx

I'm from DBN so possibly not best to comment. But I've networked a lot. Never heard of them, never seen an advert or car they have built! Please do your homework carefully!
Rather safe than sorry!

Yep, which is why I am asking around.

Tiago has build some gorgeous bobbers and cars. Quite a few writeups on him at carforums, bikeexif, retrowriteup etc. Also received two very positive replies form individual owners. Seems Tiago is doing some good work. :D

Most of those references are at least a year old. From the posting on carforums, Picard is also a member here, so may have had contact with them.

Don't have any advice to offer, but curious, thought you were based in Cape Town, why have a car build in Gauteng?

I was wondering the same thing. If I were building something like this I would want to keep careful tabs on the work, there have been too many stories of long distance long protracted build times on this forum over the years.

Yep, am CPT based but am in Jhb quite often. Spoke to guys in CPT and Langebaan and both are fully commited till next year. Not doing a complete build at all, but just some work on the cab, minor body work, repaint and making sure the mechanics are reliable. The car is running good, but just want to make it is perfect. :D
